A hardy crew assembled in searing heat on the evening of 25th June to dine on scrumptious salmon with lots of delicious trimmings followed by strawberries and cream, chocolate tartlets, cheese and biscuits. Alcohol may also have been consumed.

Following on from our very convivial dining, there was the tombola, a Bridge quiz (literal bridges for the first section!) and then silly Bridge with an intermission for bingo.

Maureen (the finessing queen) won the bingo and Janet and Malcolm won the silly Bridge.

Along the way thanks were given to Wendy, Heather and Rick for all their hard work for the club and the night finished with a resounding thank you to Peter and Elaine Anson for what was generally regarded to be the best Summer Party ever.
